Marcello Maloberti's Largest Exhibition Opens at PAC Milan
Located in Milan, the PAC – Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea is showcasing METAL PANIC, the most extensive exhibition focused on Marcello Maloberti (born 1966 in Codogno), which will be on display until February 9, 2025. Curated by Diego Sileo, the exhibition presents both new creations and reinterpretations that emphasize Maloberti's ties to Milan. A highlight is the video performance METAL PANIC (2024), inspired by an image from National Geographic, featuring a score that transforms a gun into a Pan flute. Additionally, TILT (2024) incorporates a guardrail as a spatial drawing. The event will culminate in a performance by actor Ninetto Davoli, paying tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini, Carmelo Bene, and Franz Kafka. Maloberti expresses, 'IL PUBBLICO È IL MIO CORPO' (The public is my body).
