Marcel Zelmanovitch's "Ratures & Artefacts" at Galerie Diurne

Galerie Diurne will present "Ratures & Artefacts," an exhibition by painter and textile artist Marcel Zelmanovitch, opening September 17, 2026, at 45 rue Jacob in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The show features five large-scale "rug-paintings" that transform irregularities, interruptions, and visual accidents into the work's central language. For over four decades, Zelmanovitch has explored the intersection of painting and textile, developing signed works that combine painting's expressive ambitions with hand-knotting and textile craftsmanship. The exhibition runs through November 13, 2026.
