Marc-Olivier Wahler Named Artistic Advisor for Contemporary Istanbul's 10th Edition
Marc-Olivier Wahler has been named the Artistic Advisor for Contemporary Istanbul, the Turkish art fair, ahead of its 10th edition set for 12-15 November 2015. With a wealth of curatorial expertise, Wahler previously directed the Palais de Tokyo in Paris from 2006 to 2012, where he established Palais/Magazine. He also led the Swiss Institute in New York, curating exhibitions featuring artists such as Urs Fischer, Takashi Murakami, Jim Shaw, and Aleksandra Mir. Earlier, from 1995 to 2000, he co-founded and managed the CAN Centre d’art Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Currently, he is the founder and director of Chalet Society, an exhibition venue in Paris, where he will guide the fair's artistic vision.
