Mar Hernandez and Lisa Sebestikova debut at White Noise Gallery in Rome

exhibition · 2026-04-27

White Noise Gallery in Rome presents the first Italian solo exhibition of Dutch artist Lisa Sebestikova (born 1988 in Enschede), alongside works by Spanish artist Mar Hernandez (born 1984 in Madrid). Sebestikova's new aluminum structures, inspired by a visit to Rome, incorporate small soapstone fragments and are displayed against pale green and antique pink walls. Her work conceptually distorts echoes of the past. Hernandez, meanwhile, focuses on private spaces, overlaying delicate pencil drawings of furniture and objects onto photographs of abandoned interiors, creating plausible narratives. The exhibition is titled 'Incanti' and runs at the gallery's Rome location.
