Mapping Berlin: Collective Narration on Imaginary and Emergent Spaces at Galerie Wedding

From July 7 to August 12, 2017, Berlin will host the exhibition and event program titled Mapping Berlin, Collective Narration on Imaginary and Emergent Spaces. Curated by the Berlinerpool Arts Network, comprising Andrzej Raszyk and Paz Ponce, in partnership with Associazione 22:37, the event is located at Galerie Wedding. It showcases the work of 11 international artists residing in Berlin, such as Roland Fuhrmann, Marcelina Wellmer, and Margret Holz. The exhibition delves into urban environments through rhizomatic networks, focusing on sustainability and public-private dynamics. A public engagement initiative, the Collective Memory Atlas, encourages participants to document cultural spaces via Instagram and Sparkle. Additionally, the program features Walk with the Artist, guided explorations inspired by Stefania Migliorati’s book, with a presentation scheduled for July 28 at Galerie Wedding.
