Manuela Mozo appointed director of Untitled Art Fair
Untitled Art Fair, founded in 2012 on Miami Beach, has named Manuela Mozo as its new director. Mozo, currently director of Simon Lee Gallery in New York and formerly with Metro Pictures and Skarstedt, will oversee the fair's expansion from the East Coast to the West Coast alongside founder Jeff Lawson. The fair's curatorial team remains Omar López-Chahoud, Christophe Boutin, and Melanie Scarciglia, with López-Chahoud transitioning to curator advisor after the December 2017 Miami Beach edition. The next Miami Beach edition runs December 6–10, 2017; the San Francisco edition, which debuted in January 2017 in the Dogpatch neighborhood, will take place January 12–14, 2018. The San Francisco launch featured 50 exhibitors from 10 countries and strong sales, supported by local institutional partnerships, confirming the city's growing role in the contemporary art circuit.
