Manuel Rabaté to Lead Kiran Nadar Museum of Art from 2026

Manuel Rabaté is set to become the CEO and director of the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in New Delhi in early 2026, bringing with him over 25 years of expertise in museum management. He has been the founding director of the Louvre Abu Dhabi since 2016, where he managed its operations and growth. Before that, from 2008 to 2016, he held several roles, including CEO and CFO, at Agence France-Muséums in Paris, later joining Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism. Rabaté was honored with knighthood in the National Order of Merit in 2015 and received the Order of Arts and Letters in 2020. The KNMA, which opened in 2010, has been gearing up for expansion since 2023, and Rabaté expressed excitement about contributing to India's rich cultural scene. He will continue at Louvre Abu Dhabi until he starts his new position.
