Mantua's Palazzo Te Park Reopens with Ecological Redesign
On August 26, 2023, the Parco di Palazzo Te in Mantua was reopened following renovations by AG&P greenscape, coinciding with the Festivaletteratura. Covering over 70,000 square meters, the park boasts 274 newly planted trees, 1,400 meters of hedges, 620 square meters of shrubs, and 955 square meters dedicated to rose gardens. It offers health paths, sports facilities, public fountains, and areas for relaxation. Mayor Mattia Palazzi remarked that it provides the city with "a different, European breath." Located next to the Renaissance Palazzo Te, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the park features a central lawn with 16 circular "arboreal rooms" designed for various activities, including spaces for education and social interaction, as well as a bike-accessible lawn.
