Manintown Nomade Gallery Opens in Milan Blending Art, Fashion, and Design

Manintown Nomade Gallery opened on October 24, 2020, in Milan's Porta Venezia district. Founded by Federico Poletti, editor-in-chief of Manintown magazine, in collaboration with Christian Pizzinini and Antonio Scolari of Progetto Nomade, the space merges gallery, concept store, and cabinet of curiosities. The visual design was curated by art director Cecilia Melli. The inaugural exhibition features photographer Pietro Lucerni and neon artist Janis Broliss, whose works are fused within the space. The gallery also includes an e-commerce platform, E-SHOP THE GALLERY, developed by Francesca Riggio, selling fashion, beauty, and design items. The first fashion brand presented is 3Quarters, founded in 2015 in Athens, which produces bags and accessories from recycled materials. Furniture pieces are curated by designer Tommaso Spinzi, who also customizes vintage items. Poletti plans to focus on emerging artists for future site-specific projects.
