Manibus Festival: First Edition Merges Art and Enterprise in Puglia

The Manibus Festival, an international celebration of art and entrepreneurship, is set to debut on October 15 in Puglia, covering the towns of Monopoli and Fasano. Organized by Nicola Miulli Creations, this event is included in the regional calendar for the next four years. Nicola Miulli, the artistic director, is dedicated to preserving local craftsmanship through artistic endeavors. From October 15 to December 11, Monopoli will host solo exhibitions by Maria Elisabetta Novello and Michele Spanghero, along with collaborative works from four artists and four Apulian artisans, created during residencies from September 26 to October 14. A special week at Teatro Sociale in Fasano, running from October 17 to 21, will offer masterclasses. The festival wraps up on October 22 with a performance by Jordi NN in Fasano. Gianfranco Lopane, the regional tourism assessor, highlighted the festival's potential to enhance off-season tourism. The operational team consists of Miulli, Martina Cavallarin, and Palma Nicolardi.
