Manetti Bros return with musical crime comedy 'Ammore e malavita'

The Manetti Bros, directors Marco and Antonio Manetti, premiered their latest film 'Ammore e malavita' in competition at the 74th Venice International Film Festival. The movie blends crime, romance, and musical genres, set against a vibrant Naples. It stars Giampaolo Morelli as hitman Ciro and Serena Rossi as nurse Fatima, with supporting roles by Carlo Buccirosso, Claudia Gerini, Raiz, Franco Ricciardi, and Antonio Buonomo. The soundtrack features 15 songs, 12 composed by Pivio & Aldo De Scalzi, with lyrics by Nelson, who previously won a David di Donatello for 'Song 'e Napule' (2013). The film references classics like 'Assassin's Creed', 'Skyfall', 'Flashdance', and 'Back to the Future'. It will be released in Italian cinemas by 01 Distribution on October 5, 2017.
