The Mandarin Oriental The Landmark in Hong Kong's Central district has reopened its guest rooms following a renovation led by Hong Kong-based designer Joyce Wang. The 109-key hotel, a discreet sibling to the flagship Mandarin Oriental, aims to feel like a private Hong Kong apartment. Wang drew inspiration from colonial-era mansions in the Northern Territories, evident in the terracotta facade and crimson travertine columns of the foyer. Local art is integrated throughout, including hand-painted abstractions of the Hong Kong skyline by Eliza Ling and vases by ceramicists Julie & Jessie. The renovation also introduced The Communal, an artisan coffee shop, and Blanc de Noires, a champagne bar with 25 champagnes by the glass and a 'Ham Library'. The hotel's position within The Landmark complex allows it to serve as a hub for locals and visitors alike. The renovation coincides with larger developments in Central, including the creation of Central Yards. The hotel is located at 15 Queen's Road Central.
