MAN Nuoro presents three artists and an El Greco dialogue
From November 22, 2024, to March 9, 2025, the MAN museum in Nuoro, Sardinia, will present exhibitions centered on nature and ecological transition. Artists Christiane Löhr, Una Szeemann, and Alessandro Biggio will showcase their works, which merge experimental styles with historical elements. For the Christmas season in 2025, the museum plans to feature a conversation between El Greco's 'L'Adorazione dei Magi' and 'Salvatore benedicente'. Löhr's 'Accumuli', curated by Chiara Gatti, consists of delicate sculptures crafted from natural materials. Szeemann's 'Scenafenomenica', under the curation of Elisabetta Masala, delves into magic and mythology, while Biggio's 'Filira', also curated by Gatti, presents new pieces utilizing ash and phillyrea berry juice, drawing on the myth of Filira.
