Mamoli to Present Gio Ponti's First Complete Bathroom at Cersaie 2026

At Cersaie 2026, Italian bathroom brand Mamoli will unveil the first complete bathroom conceived by architect Gio Ponti. The centerpiece is a reissue of the historic Ponti Z washbasin, originally designed in 1953, along with a collection that revives Ponti's legacy through contemporary design and fittings. The project incorporates original drawings and the Gio Ponti Z sink, demonstrating the enduring relevance of his work. The new Z washbasin features sculptural, light lines and integrates with the Montecatini basin, iconic star-shaped handles, and coordinated accessories, creating a harmonious and elegant space. Mamoli's stand at Cersaie will pay homage to Ponti's vision through a journey of forms, materials, and details, reaffirming the company's commitment to preserving the legacy of one of Italy's great design references. This announcement coincides with the 89th edition of Glocal Design Magazine, titled 'Visionarias del espacio,' which features 15 female architects and interior designers expanding the conversation on architecture, design, and interiorism in Mexico, with collector covers by Prince Láuder and Jimena Estíbaliz.
