Mamma Andersson printmaking exhibition at David Zwirner Paris

exhibition · 2026-04-24

David Zwirner Paris presents Œuvres sur papier, a focused exhibition of works on paper by Swedish artist Mamma Andersson. The show features new etchings created at the Parisian intaglio workshop Atelier Tazé-Lipreau-Ara, alongside works on paper, engravings, and painted proofs from recent series. This is Andersson's sixth solo exhibition with the gallery, following Mamma Andersson: Adieu Maria Magdalena at the same venue in 2023. In 2018, she received the Guerlain Drawing Prize from the Daniel and Florence Guerlain Contemporary Art Foundation. Her practice recalls late nineteenth-century Romanticism while incorporating contemporary psychological layering.
