Mami Kataoka to Lead Aichi Triennale 2022
Mami Kataoka, director of Mori Art Museum and president of CIMAM, has been appointed artistic director of Aichi Triennale 2022. She is the first woman to hold this role. Kataoka, a native of Aichi Prefecture, brings extensive experience as an international curator, having served as co-artistic director of the 9th Gwangju Biennale (2012) and artistic director of the 21st Biennale of Sydney (2018). The announcement was made by the Aichi Triennale Organizing Committee.
