MAM São Paulo launches supported-studio art program for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism

The Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo (MAM São Paulo) is set to commence registrations for its inclusive art initiative, Práticas Inclusivas em Arte Contemporânea, aimed at adults aged 18 and over who have intellectual disabilities and autism in São Paulo. Enrollment will take place from August 17, 2026, until September 4 at 11 a.m. This complimentary program, which is part of Ateliê Aberto, consists of 20 sessions scheduled every Friday from October 9, 2026, to May 14, 2027, and will cover various artistic disciplines while providing transportation assistance. This effort is in partnership with researchers Jade French and Viviane Panelli Sarraf and is included in the Inclusive Art for Wicked Problems project.
