MAM Rio Celebrates Photographer Joaquim Paiva's 80th Birthday
On August 25, MAM Rio will host a tribute to Joaquim Paiva, photographer and collector, on his 80th birthday. The event includes the premiere of the photofilm "Cinzas viram nuvens" (2026) by Claudia Tavares, recorded tributes from friends and collaborators, and a conversation with Paiva, Tavares, photographer and curator Paulo Marcos de Mendonça Lima, executive director Yole Mendonça, and artistic director Pablo Lafuente. The free event takes place at the Cinemateca do MAM Rio, subject to capacity.
