Mali Weil's Aphrodisia: Indocile Design Objects That Turn Home into a Gymnasium
At VenturaFuture during Milan's Fuorisalone, the collective Mali Weil—comprising Lorenzo Facchinelli, Elisa Di Liberato, and Mara Ferrieri—unveiled their collection titled 'Aphrodisia.' This assortment includes unique design pieces such as Circle, a rug that serves as a wrestling arena; Conspiracy, a cutlery set that can be converted into weapons; and Motherlode, a ring that can be 3D-printed. Mali Weil, which began in the performing arts and evolved into product design with their brand Animal Spirits in 2013, is based in Trentino and delves into themes of politics and eros. Following its Milan debut, the collection will be showcased at Venice Design until June 17, featuring the performance 'Amare Alcibiade' for eight attendees.
