MalGuard: Graph-Based Malware Detection for Organizations
A new graph-based malware detection method called MalGuard has been proposed to address organizational cybersecurity risks. The method introduces two innovations: operational role identification and expressive program graph representations. Byte-based machine learning methods are vulnerable to evasive manipulations, while graph-based approaches are more robust. MalGuard aims to improve detection accuracy by capturing execution behavior through program graphs.
