Maledetti Toscani: Simone Bianchi, Pau and Libero Maggini at Off Gallery Naples

On April 30, 2026, Off Gallery in Naples opens 'Maledetti Toscani', a group show curated by Rita Alessandra Fusco featuring Simone Bianchi, Pau (Paolo Bruni), and Libero Maggini. The exhibition is part of the COMICON OFF festival and marks the expansion of the gallery with a third space. Each artist occupies a separate room: Pau, frontman of the band Negrita, presents colorful bulls, the cover of his latest album 'Canzoni per anni spietati', and street-pop portraits; Simone Bianchi, a Marvel and DC Comics star, shows intricate drawings blending pop myths and Renaissance atmospheres; Libero Maggini offers surreal ceramics and drawings. The title references Curzio Malaparte's 1956 essay, evoking a 'spregiosa' (scornful) Tuscan attitude of ironic cynicism and intellectual honesty. The gallery, founded in 2018 by Beniamino Manferlotti in a 17th-century courtyard, expanded with a white cube in 2022 and now opens a third venue. The show runs until May 30, 2026.
