Major exhibitions and biennial highlight November 2016 art calendar

Kerry James Marshall's most extensive museum retrospective, titled 'Mastry', is currently on display at the Met Breuer in New York from October 25 until January 29. This exhibition features 80 pieces, including 72 paintings, and originates from MCA Chicago. It also includes 'Kerry James Marshall Selects', showcasing 40 works from the Met's collection. Isa Genzken's significant exhibition in Los Angeles, 'I Love Michael Asher', is at Hauser Wirth & Schimmel until December 31. In Lisbon, Dan Graham's work will be at Galeria Filomena Soares from November 17 to January 7. Jutta Koether's 'Best of Studios' is available at Campoli Presti in London until November 12. Martin Creed's inaugural solo show in Austria is at Galerie im Taxispalais until November 20. Josh Kline's 'Unemployment' is at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo from November 4 to February 26. The 13th Cuenca Biennial in Ecuador will take place from November 25 to February 5, 2017. Roman Ondak's exhibit, 'The Source of Art is in the Life of a People', is at the South London Gallery until January 6, while Nina Canell's 'Foam-Skin Insulated Jelly-Filled Vowel' is on view at Barbara Wien in Berlin until November 30. Edward Krasiński's first retrospective in the UK is being held at Tate Liverpool from October 21 through March 5.
