Maisie Williams launches Daisie, a social network for creatives

Actress Maisie Williams, known for playing Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, has co-founded Daisie, a new social network app for creative professionals. Developed with producer Dom Santry, the platform aims to connect young creatives across fields like art, music, graphic design, photography, film, fashion, video games, literature, and even cooking. Unlike existing platforms such as Behance, DeviantArt, or Instagram, Daisie eliminates likes and follows to reduce popularity-driven dynamics. Instead, it focuses on sharing creative processes rather than finished works, encouraging collaboration and feedback. The app is currently in beta, accessible only to 100 selected creatives. The entire team consists of six people under 25, with Williams and Santry, both 21, serving as CEOs. Williams describes Daisie as "a social media for misfits." The founders state that prior to Daisie, success in creative industries depended on luck and connections; the app aims to provide a new pathway through natural connections and skill development.
