Maisie Peters Returns with 'Healed' Album Florescence

Maisie Peters, the Sussex-born singer who has supported Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, is releasing her third album Florescence on May 22, 2025. The album follows her 2023 chart-topping The Good Witch and marks a tonal and sonic shift toward a more settled sound. Peters describes the album as 'a lot more healed,' reflecting personal growth since her early twenties. The album features collaborations with Julia Michaels, who wrote the song Kingmaker, and Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons on the track If You Let Me. The trailer and video for My Regards were directed by Amelia Dimoldenberg of Chicken Shop Date, paying tribute to the British teen film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, and include actress Georgia Groome. Peters, who signed to Ed Sheeran's label Gingerbread Records in 2021, will perform at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Sunderland and has a gig scheduled at the O2 in London next year. The album opens with Mary Janes, where Peters lists her insecurities, and closes with the peaceful Nothing Like Being In Love. Peters has faced challenges including a vocal condition and anxiety, notably becoming upset at a soundcheck while supporting Noah Kahan in 2024.
