Magnitudo producing new docu-film on Palladio's global influence
Italian production company Magnitudo, known for art docu-films distributed in over 60 countries, is producing a new documentary titled 'I Palazzi del Potere – Palladio, l’architetto del mondo'. The film explores how 16th-century Vicenza stonemason Andrea Palladio became the reference for iconic power buildings like Wall Street, the White House, and the US Congress. Directed by Giacomo Gatti, the documentary follows cosmopolitan professor Gregorio Carboni Maestri from Université Libre de Bruxelles as he demonstrates Palladio's modernity to architecture students. Filming locations include the Teatro Olimpico. The production team includes cinematographer Marco Sgorbati and screenwriter Elia Gonella.
