Magic Barbès Festival Returns for 2026 Edition in Paris

The Magic Barbès festival returns to the Barbès neighborhood in Paris from May 27 to 31, 2026, under the theme of light. Organized with local actors from La Goutte d'Or, the program includes music, theater, dance, and community events. Highlights include HabibiSly (Sylvain Rabbath) performing Electro-Disco-Oriental on May 28 at FGO Barbara, along with InSen, a trio led by Mehdi Ghanem blending Tunisian rhythms and electronic music. On May 29, Dornika, an Iranian-American queer underground artist from Berlin, headlines with friends Meshcut, Habibitch, Coco Klein, and Dualbody. On May 30, Compagnie Gaby Sourire presents "En scène !", a theater piece by amateur actors from the neighborhood, supported by the Mairie du 18e arrondissement. On May 31, La Plankè Juniors, young dancers trained by Théa aka Hypnose of collective La Plankè, perform a short electro dance showcase. The festival's visual identity is designed by Florian Gallou.
