mAFF Film Festival Launches at Flashback Habitat in Turin
The 13th edition of the Flashback Art Fair is set to take place at its traditional location, the former orphanage and birthing clinic located at Corso Giovanni Lanza 75 in Turin, from November 20 to November 23. This year, the fair will introduce the mAFF – mater Art Film Fest, which is directed by Tommaso Magnano. Over three days, the festival will showcase 12 international short films that explore the theme of motherhood. Notable participating artists include Christian Meyer, Anne Schiekel, and Silvia Giordano, among others from diverse backgrounds. Curated by Antonio Cavicchioni and his team, a jury will select six finalist films for an exhibition that opens on November 23 at Flashback Habitat, continuing until February 15, 2026, with the goal of transitioning audiovisual works into exhibition settings.
