Madrid Art Fairs Rescheduled: ArcoLisbona Moves to September, Small Fairs Return in Spring

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

The fifth edition of ArcoLisbona, which is related to ArcoMadrid, has been rescheduled from its original dates in early May to September 16-19, 2021. This decision was made collaboratively by the organizing committee, Ifema, and the Lisbon City Council. The event will now take place at Doca de Pedrouços. Meanwhile, ArcoMadrid 2021 is set for July 7-11, despite ongoing uncertainties regarding international travel. Just Mad will take place concurrently with ArcoMadrid, while Drawing Room, Art-Madrid, and Urvanity are planning events from May 26-30, forming a mini-festival in late spring. Additionally, Estampa will open on April 8 at Feria de Madrid, and SAM will debut on April 9 on Calle Velázquez. Throughout the pandemic, Madrid has been the sole European capital with museums, theaters, and concert halls remaining open.
