Madre Museum in Naples Launches Summer School on New Art Professions

The Fondazione Donnaregina per le arti contemporanee and the University of Naples Federico II are organizing the first Summer School titled 'Le nuove professioni nell'arte contemporanea' at the Madre museum in Naples from July 22 to 27, 2019. Directed by Vincenzo Trione, the program aims to train 20 selected graduates under 35 in the evolving field of contemporary art professions, blending art history, economics, and management. Participants will attend lectures and workshops led by museum directors, foundation heads, artists, and experts, including Michelangelo Pistoletto and Francesco Vezzoli. The school is free and based on merit. A key project involves designing an arts festival for Naples, to be realized at Madre and in the city during spring-summer 2020. Applications must be submitted by July 5, 2019, and the selected participants will be announced on July 12, 2019.
