Madre Museum appoints new international scientific committee
After Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Vincenzo Trione stepped down from the scientific committee of the Madre Museum, the Campania Region established a new five-member board. Their resignations came after the presidency transitioned from Laura Valente to Angela Tecce, leading to the previous committee, formed in November 2020, lasting under a year. Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Trione discovered through social media that they were part of a 'not yet ratified' committee. The newly appointed members are Marie-Laure Bernadac, Stefano Boeri, Lara Mattioli, Carlos Basualdo, and Angela Vettese. This committee will provide guidance on the museum's artistic direction, overseen by Kathryn Weir, and aims to foster collaborations with various museums for summer 2021 and beyond.
