Madame, Bault, Popay: 'Mondes intérieurs' at Galerie-Atelier Pozor
From May 7 to 30, 2026, Galerie-Atelier Pozor hosts the group exhibition 'Mondes intérieurs' featuring urban artists Madame, Bault, and Popay. The show is curated by Jp Elgosi-Chablas, with a vernissage on May 7 at 6 PM. Madame (b. 1982, France), trained as an actress and set designer, works in collage using vintage materials to deconstruct historical iconography. She creates small-scale dioramas in her studio, later transposing them into large street posters. Bault (b. 1977, France), from Aveyron, studied at École des Beaux-Arts d'Avignon and Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg. He began graffiti in 1997, later shifting to video art, graphic design, and illustration. His work is influenced by art brut and Brazilian pixação, blending tags with typography. Popay (b. 1971, Barcelona, Spain), a self-taught pioneer of French graffiti since the mid-1980s, revitalized Hip-Hop graffiti with influences from comics, Figuration Libre, and modern art. Known for virtuosic tagging and calligraphy, he incorporates picaresque figures, landscapes, and lyrical abstractions into his murals.
