Macro Roma opens call for two artist residencies in 2017
Zètema, on behalf of the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, has announced a new edition of the Artist-in-Residence Program at the Macro museum in Rome. Two artists aged 25–40, without concurrent residencies, will be selected to live and work in a furnished apartment within the museum's new wing for six months. The residency includes a three-month studio setup from February 1 to April 30, during which visitors can observe the creative process. Applications must be submitted by January 10, 2017, with a project proposal that engages with Rome and the museum spaces. The museum and city administration do not provide funding; artists must cover their own costs. The program, launched in January 2012, is part of the Studio d’Artista initiative.
