Machan Community Platform in Korail by Paraa

The Machan community platform, designed by Paraa and led by principal architect Kazi Arefin, is set to be built in Korail, Dhaka, Bangladesh, covering an area of 332 m². Scheduled for completion in 2025, the project was shaped by insights from over 60 participatory workshops and residencies. Curated by Miwa Negoro, the initiative will utilize materials from suppliers including Asian Paints, CONCORD, and Shah Cement. Photography for the project will be handled by City Syntax, highlighting the collaborative efforts of various artists and institutions involved. The platform is located at Ershad Maidan in Korail.
