MAC-USP presents Di Cavalcanti exhibition focusing on drawings from 1920-1950

From October 18 to November 8, the Museu de Arte Contemporânea da USP (MAC USP) in São Paulo will host an exhibition called "DI CAVALCANTI: militante, boêmio, brasileiro." Curated by Helouise Costa and Marcelo Bortoloti, the show features 115 drawings by the influential Brazilian modernist Emiliano Di Cavalcanti, who lived from 1897 to 1976. These works, created between 1920 and 1950, highlight his artistic development and experimentation. An audiovisual display will showcase all 561 drawings from his personal collection. Additional artworks are sourced from various institutions, including the Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros and the Pinacoteca de São Paulo. The exhibition runs Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 21:00, at Avenida Pedro Álvares Cabral, 1301, in Ibirapuera.
