Mac Casa by CTA: A Flowing Indoor-Outdoor Residence in Ho Chi Minh City

Mac Casa, a residential project by CTA | Creative Architects, was completed in 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 118-square-meter house is designed to blur the boundaries between interior and exterior, creating a liberated living environment where vegetation intertwines with architecture and floor levels emulate natural topography. The project, curated by Miwa Negoro, features principal architects Vo The Duy and Nguyen Thi Xuan Thanh, with interior construction by Pham Vien Furniture. Photographs by Hiroyuki Oki document the space, which uses products from Toto and Hoa Phat. The design emphasizes harmony between human routines and nature under a vast, enveloping shade cover, enriching the spatial experience of movement and daily life.
