MA*GA Museum in Gallarate Opens Spring Season with Three Exhibitions
The MA*GA museum in Gallarate, Italy, is set to kick off its spring exhibition season, running until May 8, 2022. This season features a reinstallation of the permanent collection and individual exhibitions for Chiara Dynys and Michele Lombardelli. The permanent collection, titled 'Geografie. Raccontare i tempi, raccontare i luoghi,' is curated by Emma Zanella and Alessandro Castiglioni and includes works by Emilio Vedova, Ennio Morlotti, and new acquisitions like core samples by Giorgio Andreotta Calò. Dynys's exhibition, 'Melancholia,' showcases twenty new pieces, including 'Merry Liseberg Parade.' Lombardelli's 'Untitled' exhibition, curated by Vittoria Broggini, highlights his photography and abstract paintings, featuring the 'Untitled Noise' project in collaboration with Luca Scarabelli, commemorating a decade of partnership with Malpensa Airport T1.
