The M9 museum in Mestre, the flagship project of Fondazione Venezia with a €110 million investment, has launched an international call for a director. The director will oversee programming, staff, and innovation, requiring fluency in Italian and English, a master's degree, and proven experience. The recruitment is handled by PRAXI S.p.A., an executive search firm. The museum, designed by Berlin-based Sauerbruch Hutton, spans 10,000 sqm and features a digital collection from Italian archives. It includes the M-Children multimedia playroom and an installation by Limosani. The opening is scheduled for December 2018. Guido Guerzoni, project manager for 11 years, stated the foundation seeks international excellence.
