The M9 Museum in Mestre, under director Serena Bertolucci, will open 'Pertini. L'arte della Democrazia' on November 20, 2025, running until August 31, 2026. The exhibition marks the 130th anniversary of Pertini's birth and the 80th anniversary of Italy's 1946 referendum. It showcases artworks from Pertini's personal collection, mostly on loan from the Museo di Savona, alongside documents, photographs, and films. Featured artists include Renato Guttuso, Giorgio Morandi, Emilio Vedova, and Mario Sironi. The museum also announced 'Identitalia. The Iconic Italian Brands' (curated by Carlo Martino and Francesco Zurlo, opening September 27), a Stelio Fenzo retrospective (October 9 to February 22, 2026), and 'Matite in Viaggio' (October 30). M9 reported 26,000 tickets sold for its previous exhibition on art saved from war.
