Her European traveling exhibition concluded at Tate Britain in February, where critics celebrated her as one of Britain's foremost painters. The Guardian described her as 'A living old master,' while the Evening Standard praised her sublime touch and ability to animate a face with minimal marks and patches of bare canvas. Time Out noted her thick, rough brushwork combined with precise execution. In March, she presented over 70 new paintings and charcoal drawings created in the last three years at the Guggenheim Bilbao, all shown for the first time. Her oil paintings feature timeless Black figures engaged in posed or playful everyday scenes, leaving critics enamored. The four-venue tour confirmed her artistic prominence.
