Lydia Yee nominata Chief Curator alla Whitechapel Gallery, proveniente dal Barbican

A partire da febbraio 2015, Lydia Yee diventerà Chief Curator alla Whitechapel Gallery, lavorando a fianco della direttrice Iwona Blazwick per guidare il team delle mostre. Dal 2007, Yee è stata curatrice alla Barbican Art Gallery di Londra, dove ha recentemente contribuito a mostre significative come Bauhaus: Art as Life nel 2013 e l'esposizione del 2011 con Laurie Anderson e altri. Ha anche curato opere notevoli come Ron Arad: Restless nel 2010 e vari progetti nella galleria Curve con artisti come Cory Arcangel. Prima del suo incarico al Barbican, è stata senior curator al Bronx Museum of the Arts. Attualmente, sta co-curando il British Art Show 8 per il 2015.
