Luxury Cinema FCE Majestic Opens in Palazzo Odescalchi Stables

architecture-design · 2026-05-26

In June 2026, the FCE Majestic cinema will open in the former stables of Palazzo Odescalchi in Rome. Led by Richard Borg, Marco Belardi, Luigi Borg, and Francesco Bove, the project features two boutique screening rooms (33 and 47 seats) with 4K Laser RGB projection, Dolby Atmos, and custom seating by Cinearredo. The architectural intervention by Claudia Addati of Archs Architettura balances conservation and innovation. A cocktail bar lounge accompanies the experience. The venue also offers an on-demand system for private screenings and programming of titles from the last three years, plus premieres, meetings, and live content from Nexo Digital. The space historically hosted Luigi Pirandello's Teatro d'Arte di Roma (1925–1928) and later a cinema post-WWII.
