LUXEFARM Waterbird Park Pavilion by Atelier OO in Wanning

Atelier OO has completed the Waterbird Park Pavilion for LUXEFARM in Wanning, China, a 300 m² structure serving as a restaurant and bar within a wetland ecosystem. The pavilion, led by architects Wu Yifei, He Zhenzhong, and Shao An, is situated on the shores of a reservoir that supports migratory shorebirds during the dry season. The project, completed in 2024, integrates with the natural landscape of lakes and deciduous forests, designed to maintain ecological balance. The client is Chengdu Luxelakes Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., with representatives Luo Xi, Liang Xinyin, and Liang Jiahao. Landscape design was by YUDAO Studio, and engineering consultancy by Sise Huatu, involving Chen Dong, Wei Zhihui, Chen Ming, Liu Wei, and Hu Tianlin. Photographs were taken by Siming Wu.
