Lunigiana Land Art Festival Concludes with Four-Day Finale in Pontremoli
The Lunigiana Land Art festival, a diffuse event spanning 12 municipalities across Tuscany, Liguria, and Emilia Romagna, will hold its grand finale from June 30 to July 3, 2022, in Pontremoli (Massa-Carrara). The festival, winner of the 'Borghi in Festival' public notice promoted by the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, was led by the Municipality of Mulazzo with 11 other municipalities. It involved 89 artists, 21 artworks, 12 exhibitions, and over 60 events, with at least 200 people employed or volunteering. The closing weekend features performances, concerts, a roundtable with mayors, and the premiere of a film by Desmond Movies Pack documenting the On-Site project curated by Spazi Fotografici and Matèria. Notable participants include Jacopo Benassi, Mario Cresci, Matteo Balduzzi, Federica Chiocchetti, Ilaria Turba, and Marina Caneve. The artistic direction was led by architect Angela Tanania and Francesca Fontana.
