Lunetta 11 Gallery Launches Record Label in Italy's Langhe Region

Lunetta 11, a cultural project founded in 2019 in the ancient hamlet of Mombarcaro in the Langhe region, has expanded into a record label called Lunetta 11 Label. The initiative was launched by founders Eva Menzio, Francesco Pistoi (aka Pisti), and Claudia Zunino. The label focuses on electronic music and maintains a strong connection to visual arts, with vinyl cover art created by artists who have previously collaborated with the gallery. The first release is the single "Sienteme" by Mangaboo, featuring vocals and lyrics by Neapolitan saxophonist and singer-songwriter Enzo Avitabile, accompanied by a music video directed by Alberto Colombo. The single will be available on vinyl from mid-February 2020, along with three remixes by East 00155, Fabrizio Maurizi, and Ulderico Tarasconi. The label plans a busy schedule of publications in its first year, including projects by Antenna and Popolonuovo. Meanwhile, Lunetta 11 is preparing its second summer exhibition, opening in late June with a party in the terraces and gardens of Borgata Lunetta. Street artist BR1, who previously created urban interventions in Mombarcaro, is designing the label's graphics for the first year.
