Lunario del Auditorio Nacional opens Eclipse Bar and Umbral Sala Inmersiva
The Lunario del Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City has launched two new spaces—Eclipse Bar and Umbral Sala Inmersiva—as part of a major renovation. Eclipse Bar, designed by architect Juan Pablo Serrano Orozco, accommodates 167 guests and features a design inspired by the sun and moon, with materials like brass, steel, marble, and granite. It includes two main bars named Sol and Luna, large-format screens, and a DJ booth. Umbral Sala Inmersiva, created by Fernanda Múzquiz and Edgar Bolaños, is an immersive space for 250 people equipped with high-fidelity audio, 360° projections, interactive videomapping, and ambient lighting. The space is intended for entertainment, artistic, educational, corporate, and stage events. Since its opening, the Lunario has hosted nearly 5,000 shows and over 1.7 million attendees. The renovation aims to position the venue as a multifunctional entertainment hub aligned with international trends.
