The event, organized by Fotógrafos pela Democracia, will showcase 50 significant photographs of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, contributed by 43 photographers, including notable names such as Bob Wolfenson, Marlene Bergamo, and Ricardo Stuckert. All images, signed by Lula, will have a starting bid of R$ 1,313.00. Proceeds will support the Instituto Lula, which advocates for the release of Lula, whom the organizers label a political prisoner. The photographs span over 40 years of his life, capturing his early activism, the pivotal 1979 metalworkers' strike, and his bond with the Brazilian populace.
