LUKSTUDIO Designs Yunju Roast Meat Restaurant in Guangzhou

LUKSTUDIO has designed the Yunju Roast Meat Restaurant in Guangzhou, China, completed in 2026. The 103 m² interior reimagines the traditional Cantonese siu mei shop, often associated with cramped, fast-paced dining, as a space for social interaction. Lead architect Christina Luk led a team including Yu Weifeng, Wang Qiantian, Anna Jia, and Yan Ruizhuo. The project was commissioned by Yunju Roast Meat (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., with lighting consultancy by Fangfang Studio and structural consultancy by Miao Jianbo. The contractor and prop fabricator was Guangzhou Weilin Creative Display Co., Ltd. Photographs were taken by ten visions studio.
