Luigi Pericle's esoteric art gets first French retrospective in Mulhouse
The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Mulhouse is hosting 'D'un monde à l'autre,' marking the first retrospective in France for Italian-Swiss artist Luigi Pericle (Basel, 1916 – Ascona, 2001). This exhibition, curated by Chloé Tuboeuf, commenced on March 15, 2024, and is set to continue until August 18, 2024. It delves into Pericle's life and includes a partnership with the Musée National de l'Automobile de Mulhouse, which features his Ferrari 250 MM Vignale Spyder S1. Elia Saunier has curated a specific section of the exhibit. The Luigi Pericle Archive, overseen by Andrea and Greta Biasca-Caroni, contains over 4,000 pieces. Additionally, in 2024, the Associazione Luigi Pericle initiated a scholarship for research on art and esotericism at the Archive and Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
