Ludovico Pratesi narrates MAXXI in Artribune podcast series
Artribune has introduced a new podcast series named "Da solo al museo," curated by art critic Ludovico Pratesi. This series examines Italian museums that have been closed since November 4 due to COVID-19 measures. The third episode centers on MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XX secolo in Rome. Pratesi offers a solitary audio tour through the museum's vacant spaces, emphasizing Zaha Hadid's architectural design and the exhibition "Senzamargine. Passaggi nell'arte italiana a cavallo del millennio," which celebrates the museum's tenth anniversary. Featured artists include Carla Accardi, Luciano Fabro, and Mario Schifano, among others. Established in 2009 by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, MAXXI opened its doors in May 2010 and is situated in the Flaminio district. The podcast can be accessed on Spreaker.
