Lucrezia Viperina's Explosive Design and 'Bored Meats' Leporello

publication · 2026-04-27

Lucrezia Viperina (born 1996, Rome) is an emerging image-maker active between Rome and Milan. A recent IED graduate, she has collaborated on advertising and promotional projects for Laboutik in London, Fidenza Village, rapper Mauro Bizzie's EP 'Anime Music for Hentai Moments', and the fashion collection Always Pose. Her design is described as explosively innovative, blending post-cubism with curvilinear forms, flat colors, and orthogonal projections that mix 2D and 3D. Viperina's style matured during the lockdown, which she credits for her creative growth. Her latest work, 'Bored Meats', is a limited-edition leporello published by Strane Dizioni in Macerata. The 10-page accordion book uses six color passes and serigraphy, depicting meats on a refrigerated counter as a metaphor for lockdown monotony. Viperina's diary-like captions recount her experience of isolation. The piece transforms boredom into vibrant, acid-colored compositions with self-irony and compositional audacity.
